Mayview Missouri Foundation
The corporation is formed for the following purposes:
To restore and revitalize Mayview to a clean, safe community for families and commerce. The goals of the Foundation are to raise the funds necessary to eradicate blight and deterioration, to encourage rehabilition and rebuilding of abandoned and neglected buildings and foster new buildings and expansion. We will rally, not only current citizens, but also former residents and students of the local school to serve as volunteers and contributors to these activities and the many projects that may arise from it. Projects currently being considered are a local museum, rehabilitation of the school building, closed and abandoned long ago, to be used as a community center for civic use or other public activities and programs to assist local , disadvantaged citizens with food programs, job training and home improvement.
The foundation is organized exclusively for charitable, educational, religious or scientific purposes within the meaning of 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Service.
